Meet our Team
Sammy Baratz
Samuel J. Baratz, Sammy to his friends and family, was a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) from 1994-2012 where he gained experience in actively trading commodity positions, specifically oil futures and options, and he continues to actively trade stock options on his own.
Sammy began as a passive investor in the Real Estate sector in 2000, both domestically and abroad with properties in Canada and Israel. In the US, Sammy’s diverse investments are in Virginia, Illinois, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, New Jersey, Ohio, and his home state of New York. Closest to home in Long Island, Sammy has ownership and/or investment stakes in multi-family dwellings, as well as office and industrial properties. When called for, Sammy has taken an active role in ensuring expected returns for himself and his partners by obtaining notable tenants in healthcare, education, manufacturing, and government such as Stonybrook Hospital, Sagamore Children’s Center, Motion Dynamics, Bright Horizons, MMC Magnetics, Hitachi America, and the US Air Force.
Sammy is currently developing a Build-to-Suit property for the national day care provider, TLE (The Learning Experience).
In addition to his professional career, Sammy also devotes his time, energy and philanthropy to non-for-profit intuitions which are important to him and his family, and is actively involved in the Hebrew Academy of Five Towns & Rockaway (Board Member), Hebrew Academy for Special Children, Ohel Children’s Home, and the Young Israel of Woodmere (Board Member).
Ari Baratz
Ari is the director of acquisitions at ARDG Capital. Ari’s role consists of finding new opportunities, preparing proformas, investment memorandums, and performing due diligence. Ari has past experience in all different facets of real estate that range from management and leasing to lending and investment. Ari earned his bachelor degree from Yeshiva University with a major in finance, and is currently getting his masters in Real Estate at NYU Schack.
